The Best Chocolate Chunk Cookies

Ingredients

1 Stick of Butter (softened)

1 Stick of Butter Browned

1 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar

1 egg

1 tsp Vanilla

1 tsp Salt

1 tsp Baking Soda

1 tsp Baking Powder

2 1/4 Cup AP flour ( I like Unbleached)

1 cup chopped up Chocolate ( I used Hershey’s Bars !)



Directions

Step 1. Brown one stick of butter by placing it in a sauce pan on medium high heat stir occasionally until you start to see brown flakes and it starts to smell nutty. Turn off and let cool until it solidifies.

Step 2. Cream your butter and sugar together for approx. 2 minutes.

Step 3. Add the egg and vanilla and mix again.

Step 4. Add Salt, Baking Soda, flour and mix until just combined

Step 5. Add in your chocolate chunks !

Step 6. Scoop your dough into balls and press them down slightly on a cookie sheet.

Step 7. Chill your dough balls for AT LEAST one hour ( up to over night ). I know its annoying but trust me its worth it.

Step 8. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Step 9. Bake for 12-14 minutes, the bottoms should be lightly brown.

Step. 8 Pour yourself a cup of milk and enjoy the worlds Best Chocolate Chip Cookies !
